The staff were incredible and could not do enough to help me. Due to a travel issue I arrived very late but they sorted out late check in and were so good natured every time I called. I can't praise them enough for their positive and friendly attitude. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The common "honesty minibar" was a nice touch. Breakfast was great. As well as their own private parking, the Berkelplein public car park is 3 minutes walk and free 10pm-10am. Valkenburg itself is a nice little town with good facilities and links to major roads. The ground floor reception and breakfast room areas have been recently rejuvenated and the rest of the hotel will follow I'm sure. The room was very clean and had all I needed for a good night. I could imagine it possibly getting noisy if other guests were loud, but they even provided earplugs - I didn't need them.

This is a family-run hotel. The owner. Kristel, is helpful and generous. The hotel is well run. intelligently. The mattresses are excellent and the rooms are very quiet at night, so you should sleep well. It is quite modestly furnished, but the decor is lifted by the creative use of colour and decoration. It is fun, quirky, and uplifting. My own room overlooked a little yard, complete with kitchen waste pipes - and yet it was a charming view, painted in pink and green with a mismatched collection of farmyard animals. It deserves to be full, all the time. Breakfast is excellent.
The only thing I would change is the music at breakfast - either to none, or something real.

Hotel is very well located, just few meters away from city centre. They offer convenient parking for a fee just in front of the hotel. Breakfast a bit overpriced but delicious. Staff very friendly and recommended us what to see and where to eat.
Breakfast a bit overpriced. Hotel rooms are quite old and need some renovation. In the messages via booking they said parking fee was 7€ but in reality was 17€

The location was great.
Since there’s no airconditioning, I suggest the hotel should at least provide an electric fan. It was really warm inside the room. If you open the window, you’ll hear all the noise from the outside. As someone with asthma, it was challenging for me to get a decent rest.
