Located on a quiet yet convenient street, this hotel made for a wonderful stay thanks to its classic, tasteful interior, delicious breakfast, and the lovely, welcoming host.
The battery for the key lockbox was dead when I checked in, but I contacted the host and it was fixed within 30 minutes. I would've been in trouble if my phone had been offline!

The building is antique, the aesthetic is amazing.The room is comfortable. It is clean. Staff is super friendly.
If there are residents in the room above, the noise can be quite loud as the floors are pure wood. Because the building is old, there is no airco but they provide a fan. So on very hot days, it was a bit uncomfortable.

Even though I was travelling solo, I was upgraded free of charge to the massive 3 story cottage that is part of the B&B complex
Breakfast was quite modest with all guests of the b&b sitting together at one huge table
Wifi was problematic and I was only given the password after I asked for it
No air conditioning which is a bit of a problem during a heat wave

Very nice breakfast. Spacious rooms. Good location
It was not a 2-bedroom suite on the top floor, but rather two separate rooms which were not connected. The bathrooms were also not en-suite but rather out on the building’s corridor. This was surprising as not advertised on the description and rather deceiving.
The steep and amount of stairs was also not ideal with a child.
The fact that the people in room O left their dog unattended and it kept barking for hours in the evening whilst the guests were probably out for dinner was not the B&B’s fault, but just irresponsible and disrespectful guests.
