It was really lovely inside, lots of extra touches that made it a bit nicer than just the standard, and the price was pretty good for the location and the quality inside. Lots of coffee and tea options and water was in the mini fridge too.
The stairs are a bit scary but that's just the nature of the building so cant be helped.

The room, the self check in, the location.
Restaurant staff set up for service at 5:30 directly outside the room window with loud machinery and hoovers every day. This allows no sleep and completely ruined the experience in this otherwise lovely hotel.

Very helpful carrying our luggage to the third floor as there was no lift.
Comfortable bed, coffee and tea provided.
Location was superb

The hotel has a perfect location in a traditional house on a very nice square of Maastricht old city centre, all city attractions, monuments, bars and restaurants are at walking distance. Check-in and check-out is automatic, which is very convenient. The room we stayed was very comfortable.
It was not a real problem for us, but the hotel does not have a storage room, so you cannot leave your luggage there on the day of departure. However, there is a storage room in the underground parking in the main city square, which is 5 minutes walking distance. Another point which was not a problem for us but which might be for some people is that the hotel is a traditional Dutch house with no elevator and very steep stairs (our room was at the third floor).
