The hotel is centrally located and still retains some of the original style. Some of the staff, Annette, for example, were very helpful, others not so much.
When booking the room I could not see any info about there being a lift or not. As I have mobility problems I cannot go up two flights of stairs and needed to be reallocated at the last moment. The room we were given was not anything like we had expected, with a window looking out on a wall and a rather uncomfortable bed. I think the room info should be improved.

The location is good, but the room is very small and the view from the room was to a wall. There was no wardrobe, just an hanger. The bathroom was very nice. The breakfast was very poor. We could only choose croissant to serve with coffee. The food was also not very varied. The staff didn’t ask a word about our stay when we left.

It's a great historical hotel with a large collection of paintings inside, amazing timeless feeling when you're inside. Great facilities, clean rooms, good staff
Great option to stay outside of Amsterdam but still in a 30min bus drive away
One things to keep in mind is that the hotel is mostly popular among seniors and that is the audience to be expected while staying in the hotel
The swimming pool might need some renovation, but sauna was great

Location is good room was clean.
The restaurant only does buffets for large groups, no regular dining. All the cute photos of the wooden restaurant you see are misleading. That restaurant sits empty it’s just a hallway.
