Passable

Small comfortable hotel close to town centre and easy access from N 1 motorway. Plenty of street parking.

No hair shampoo or hand/ bath gell. What the was was very similar to hospital sanitising gel which couldn't be reached from Bath shower cure this and it would have been a much berltter stay.

A Charming Hotel

Hotel Aranda is a beautiful hotel with antique accents throughout. it is a charming hotel. the rooms are large and the bathroom excellent. The breakfast was very satisfactory and reasonably priced. there is a patio with drinks and snacks. It is within walking distance to a great central downtown core with restaurants and shops.

Very good hotel in a very good location

We had a superior double which was a really good size. We had a drink at the bar. Enough free parking in a car park opposite (outside the bull ring) or on-street round the back of the hotel. A short walk into Aranda de Duero which is well worth walking round.

The bath was very slippery and there was no no-slip mat - the hotel needs to rectify this before someone hurts themselves showering. Breakfast was a bit limited due to Covid restrictions.

Location, parking, spacious room, helpful staff, good breakfast...

Restaurant was pricey for dinner and quality not so good. Pity, because we had deliberately dined in as a result of previous Booking.com reviews

The stay was reasonably pleasant

The receptionist was very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was ample and good. The garage for secure parking was conveniently close and easy to enter, park and leave. The air conditioning in the room was very efficient with good temperature control, unlike in many hotels.

The lack of parking to unload outside the hotel was a bit inconvenient. The only available space was taken up by the hotel's van. Fortunately there was parking opposite outside the Plaza de Toros. I only had an overnight bag so it was not a problem, but other travellers with larger suitcases might find it a bit troublesome lugging their cases over to the hotel. Also on Sundays the hotel restaurant is closed.

Convenient location pleasant reception staff air conditioned.

The bar prices ridiculously high for this location. 8euro for l beer and l zumo suggest to me one price for locals and one for dumb tourists.

Excellent stop off for travelling to Santader for ferry. Opportunity to walk around the Town.

Disappointing

Lovely hotel, it served a purpose for overnight stay for our onward journey to Santander.

The room was excellent, beautifully decorated and an extremely comfortable bed. Bathroom was very clean with a separate bath and shower. Breakfast was continental and delicious and was set out in a lovely decorated dining room. Reception staff were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was also ideally situated in the centre of town.

The only issue we had was when attending the bar to order drinks we were the only delegates that were not offered any tapas, all other tables which were all full with Spanish people received tapas without asking for them and also the price of my husbands large beer was 5 euros which was excessive and more than what the locals pay. That was the only disappointment.

Very comfortable , friendly staff, well organised. Nothing too much trouble for the staff.

Room was very good, very clean and facilities excellent. Staff were extremely helpful. Perhaps the lady at the bar annd serving in the restaurant might benefit from learning a little more English, however, she was very attentive. Restaurant was very clean and food excellent. As the restaurant was not busy at all my pet was allowed to sit beneath the table which I thought was extremely good of them.
