Su ubicación, el edificio histórico, el jardín anexo y los dos complejos termales.
- La decoración de las habitaciones del edificio histórico, pretenciosa y de escaso gusto, con materiales y muebles que intentan parecer lujosos, siendo justo lo contrario. Especialmente feo es el interior oscuro y dorado del baño.
- La oferta gastronómica del hotel, desde la cafetería al salón principal, es absurdamente cara en relación con el sitio: de hecho, el menú de la primera, que debería ser más informal y económico que el del segundo, apenas se diferencia.
- El pago integral por adelantado es una descortesía impropia de un alojamiento de cierto nivel, que no se justifica ni como precaución ante supuestos impagos de tratamientos posteriores: el hotel dispone del número de la tarjeta del cliente para cubrir eventuales impagos de tales servicios.

Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und gross und auch das Bett war wunderbar. Der Spa Bereich ist fantastisch und auch das Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Restaurant Scanda für das Abendessen war ausgezeichnet. Für das Einchecken parkt man am Besten direkt im Parkhaus des anderen 4 Stern Hotels (das ist 5 Minuten zu Fuss vom Gran Hotel weg) und geht dann an dessen Reception. Es gibt nämlich keine gescheite Vorfahrt beim 5-Stern Hotel, da ist nur der Eingang in den Spa.

The breakfast, beautiful location and the bed.
When we checked in around 18:30, we noticed the room was not well cleaned (pictures attached). We communicated this issue at the reception and were told the room could be cleaned while we were at the spa. We declined, since we had already unpacked our luggage, and the bathroom and the bed were ok. Moreover, we decided to send an email with the pictures in the same day, in order to provide constructive feedback.
Unfortunately, we did not get any reply. When checking out, we were told this was a “general email”, that would eventually be seen on Monday.
When checking out, I was once again requested to provide the data for the invoice. I was told that the data I provided on the day before was not saved. I had provided it when I made the reservation and again when I checked in, so I could do a smooth check out.
Some minor issues that are not expected in a 5 star hotel:
- Considering how full the spa was, it appeared there were no reservations of time slots. I noticed there were 4 star and 5 star rooms, as well as a separate breakfast area. Unfortunately, this did not happen with the spa.
- I was also charged for 2 swimming caps. Since this is a specificity of the spa, I suggested displaying it more clearly to the clients.
