The perfect retreat. Perfect hosts. Perfect food. A great location to relax.
Despite being up on the hills, it's a nice walk to the beach (Found Torreblanca the best as less busy and more Spanish). Cheap cabs available for the way back but the L5 bus was really handy for coming up or going into town.
The train station is close by and that is a great service as well. No need for a car.
Fuengirola is big with lots of different things to offer.
The more Spanish bits are not on the front and need a bit more finding but is worth it.
Las Islas is a little piece of paradise.
The food is exceptional. Great breakfasts but every meal there was amazing. Great flavours.
The hosts are very generous and very friendly.
Feel privileged to have stayed and definitely want to return.

Absolutely beautiful, a real sanctuary

Great rooms, nice hosts, close to the beach.
On a Saturday the place hosted a concert/kareoke deep into late night. It was impossible to sleep, as the walls are thin.
I recommend this place if you are into having a late drink near a jazz stage, but a family + kids retreat was difficult
