Very well maintained historic Parador set in the old town of Trujillo. Restaurants, bars and historic buildings were all within easy reach. Our room was very good large and comfortable.
Parking, we paid an additional amount of €14 per night. This was pretty impractical being down a steep hill from the hotel entrance. Access was via a buzzer to reception to get in and out. often this was slow to be activated. Breakfast was relatively expensive and significantly more expensive than other hotels we stayed in during our trip. Staff were not the most welcoming

Logela zabalak eta zarata gutxiko hotela. Igerilekua txikia izanagatik ere gustura hartu genuen beroa kentzeko.
Eguzki betean aparkatzeagatik 14€ kobratzea garestia deritzot.
Gosaltzeko garaian zerbitzari bakarra izateak kafea eta txurruak jasotzeko tarte batean zain egotea suposatu zuen.

I love the Paradors, they’re so grand in history and atmosphere. The restaurant was excellent, with great service. The wild boar in chocolate was outstanding.

The staff was friendly and serviceminded.
The restaurant was expensive and the food somewhat below expectations. Breakfast was only one staff as far as we could see present and the selection of food was mostly cakes and sweets fruits. OK for those who like that type of breakfast, but it was not our expected food. I would like to add that there was quite a lot of internal refurbishments and outside work in the surrounding streets which I think the management should have informed us in the application we sent.
