Schönes Hotel, perfekt gelegen

Ein wirklich schönes Hotel, alles renoviert und sehr gepflegt. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick im 1. OG, der Ausblick wunderschön. Die zentrale Lage hat uns besonders gefallen, diverse Restaurants, Bars, Eisdielen, Geschäfte und der Wochenmarkt- alles zu Fuß zu erreichen, wirklich top. Das Hotel verfügt über einen schönen Pool, Liegen drumherum , eine(n) Bademeister/-in und sogar eine kleine Poolbar. Mittags kann man dort eine Kleinigkeit zu essen, vormittags allerlei Getränke bestellen, leider ist die Poolbar nachmittags meistens unbesetzt, Getränke muss man dann drinnen an der Bar ordern. Das Hotel hat Verträge mit 3 Bagni, sodass auch dem Strandbesuch nichts im Wege steht. Es gibt eine Tiefgarage, die allerdings mit 30€/Tag wirklich viel zu teuer ist und einen Parkplatz, der über ein Tor mit Pincode gesichert ist. Dieser Parkplatz ist kostenfrei und wirklich nötig, denn Parkplätze sind rar in der Gegend. Das Frühstück ist toll und sehr vielfältig und es gibt allerlei warme Speisen, die frisch zubereitet werden- top! Es gibt für abends Restaurant auf der Dachterrasse, das anscheinend vorrangig für seine Sushi- Spezialitäten bekannt ist, man kann aber auch italienisch essen. Wir hatten für einen Abend reserviert, es ist sehr gediegen, aber relativ hochpreisig. Die Aussicht ist sensationell, das Essen hat uns allerdings nicht überzeugt. Erwähnenswert ist noch das Personal, vom Zimmermädchen, die Kellner/-innen bis hin zur Rezeption waren (fast) alle sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Insgesamt haben wir uns in den 12 Tagen hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

Einen Punktabzug gibt es für den Preis der Tiefgarage, sowie den Parkplatz, der obwohl abgesperrt weder videoüberwacht noch versichert ist. Bei diesen Hotelpreisen schwer nachvollziehbar! Unser Pech- leider hat man unser Auto auf eben diesem Parkplatz angefahren- ein Schaden von 1.800€, auf dem wir dadurch komplett sitzen blieben. Einen weiteren Punktabzug gibt es für den Umgang mit unserer „Unfallsituation“. Anstatt emphatisch zu sein, wurden wir ziemlich rüde abgeblockt, der Parkplatz sei ja schließlich kostenlos- für uns war das nur schwer nachvollziehbar, da es sich immerhin um einen Hotelparkplatz handelte. Kein Entgegenkommen, kein Bedauern, kein Hilfsangebot, keine noch so kleine Entschädigung- nichts! Echt eine schwache Leistung !

Very clean, nice pool, hotel looks very good and stylish. We’ll definitely come back next summer, but will be booking it without breakfast.

Someone mentioned already, that breakfast is a weak spot of this hotel - I can agree, some of the ladies working there were just not nice and openly ignored us several times, while being extra nice to other guests. I understand they are busy and the job might be exhausting, but this is the first time someone treated us like this in Italy. Other staff members (reception, bar, cleaning) are very nice.

Nuce place for family, but if you are looking for the center Forte Dei Marmi is 15 min away and baerly you will find tax

Outstanding services, great quality, clean, private parking is great. Breakfast is excellent and varied. The hotel restaurant is one of the finest restaurants in the area.

I am kind of satisfied but wrote above for further improvements

Room was a bit back side. And interior was too white also corridor. Breakfast was good except omletto not well cooked in general Italians don't make good omlettes because not used to make. Location is okay though parking was a bit away. Acceptable.

I wished to have seaview room at prices I paid but maybe limited. And restaurant dinner nice atmosphere dishes were well decorated but so delicious, scallop was bit salty, risotto (I had ?) not so tasty as well as Tegami fish soup like caciucco. And one more thing, nowadays sustainable hotels are important and popular better to avoid single use shampoo, bath liquid, better to use refillable bottles to avoid waste of single use packages.

Excellent view to the Mediterranean Sea, and the city. Roof top kitchen, Excellent breakfast and very conducive room for relaxation. Very supportive staff and considerate management putting customer first. I love Hotel Excelsior.

Special Halloween weekend TREAT

Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. The check in process was quick. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast assortment and services provided by Carla and Daniela were impressive. To our surprise, we received a complimentary a bottle of spumante in our room. We were also allowed to park free of charge in a private car park not far from the hotel. This was a great added bonus because spaces are impossible to come by and street parking is pricey. A 4 star hotel worthy of its status.

The hotel is near to the sea. The rooms are cleaned carefully everyday. The staff is really helpful. The hotel has a safe parking place, but it is circa 200 meters away from the entrance. We drinked there the best coctails ever. The breakfast is excellent!

Amazing stay !

The view from our room was amazing ! I took a lot of pictures of sunset . Maria (at the bar) and I think his name was Ricardo who helped us with our luggage and assisted at the bar as well (sorry if it's incorrect name) were super nice , breakfast was good too and room was nice and clean. The hotel had a great live music event . We truly enjoyed our stay and will come back again !
