Perfect location and brilliant staff

Perfect location close to station and centre. The staff were exceptional, a credit to the hotel. Nice breakfast

No sleep as very bad noice cancellation

To much noise from the hall ways and rooms around. Could hear every single one walking and even talking in different rooms.

We had a great stay.

The location, gym/sauna, and breakfast were all excellent. Also the children's playroom and games (table football and ping pong) were a nice touch. Comfortable beds/bedding and excellent soundproofing in the room too. Breakfast boxes for early check outs were much appreciated too. All in all - we had a great stay. The positives far outweigh any negatives and we'd definitely stay again.

While the room was clean, some of the common areas (especially staircases) could have been cleaner (although I don't think too many people take the stairs so probably not a priority). Front desk staff were a bit mixed - some very friendly and helpful, others seemed disinterested.

Great location,room clean,comfortable beds.

No tea making in room,disappointed that we could not get a drink after 11pm.always thought hotels would serve residents at any time.

Nice hotel, good location and good facilities but room a bit small.

Hotel was in general nice, staff friendly and helpful, bar area good and breakfast very good. Fitness center was also quite nice. Location was very good, walking distance to the big mall, one of the big shopping areas as well. Trams and trains just outside the hotel.

Our room for four was very small and we barely managed to be there all of us at the same time. Basically it was a room for two with two extra beds squeezed in. Bar service was slow at times - sometimes they did not manage man the place even though they knew this was going to be a busy week due to Gothia Cup.

I liked the location, it was near everything. I loved that it was spa included.

The breakfast could have been better. More fruits. It was only watermelon. It could also be more cereals. The rooms was very wourn out and didn’t feel so clean. The hotel rooms need to be upgraded.

Overcrowded , high priced , 2 out of 3 elevator out of service with a full Capacity hotel during Gothia cup Needs refurbishments carpets very dirty and old in the corridors , bar in the evening overcrowded with only 1 bar tender available To encash and to serve the customers

An Excellent Hotel and Stay

Our stay at the Scandic Crowne was perfect as we attended a performance at Ullevi and location was excellent. Parking facilities were also very good and well organised. Our room with our dog was generous, comfortable and clean, with treats and doggie bags for our pet. There are no coffee or tea making facilities in the room which could be an improvement but there's a free coffee and tea making service in the foyer. Staff were very friendly and helpful which always makes a stay pleasurable. The breakfast choices were super and we enjoyed a wide range of options from the buffet both hot and cold. This hotel is also near the train station and easy to catch buses and trams. It is also close to a Coop and several restaurants and a park, but dogs are not allowed in the park.

The price for the room was very high 8300kroner for two nights because of the performance at the stadium- that was the only negative, but we had no choice. We would happily stay here again when prices return to normal.

Overall it was a pleasant stay

Location was perfect for our two nights stay, very close to central station and Ullevi stadium ,very good bar and a restaurant.Hotel staff was just amazing, very helpful

Good Hotel

Very clean hotel, kindly staff and good food.The hotel has a very good location. I was for Coldplay concert and even the Hotel was full the staff managed the situation.

there was only a problem with the elevators only 1 from 3 was working and was crowding at the elevator

Room was comfy, staff was nice, breakfast was phenomenal. Location is very nice within a walking distance from downtown.

Disappointing considering the cost.

Great location with easy walk to city centre.

Our room wasn't cleaned unless we requested it and even then it was done very late in the day. Our room was booked as a triple room but was too small. WiFi was fast enough but too complicated so had to resign in regularly. Had to pre book a breakfast time by using a QR code. I refused to make my life more complicated so advised our required time at check in. There is no need to make life more complicated with technology. Finding the parking entrance is difficult as there are no signs posted and in the underground parking area there are no signs directing you to the lifts or reception area. Checking in was slow, large queues and unpleasant staff. Bathroom is a bit tired and the hotel room is overdue for a refit. Booking the expensive parking required multiple emails with the hotel and despite paying for parking in advance we were told we had to rebook parking a week before arrival. We were sent parking access codes that didn't work. On a busy day two of the three lifts were out of service so there were queues at the lift.

Breakfast was wonderful and staff is really friendly and helpful. They have luggage room for free and we've sent some postcards from receptions to our friends. Also location of this hotel is very convenient.

Room needed a refreshment - old wallpapers, scratches on the doors and walls, stains here and there. Bedsheets and room were clean but overall impressions were not so great.

Recommend the place for a short city break, good value.

Good location , gym & sauna were great especially for my children, breakfast was great with a varied selection.

Our room had no tea or coffee making facilities, had to ask for a kettle and cups which is just absurd for a hotel in the 21st century. Room was very small despite being sold as a family room, nowhere to sit after a day site seeing.

Strictly average!

Room was a good size and bed was comfortable. Lots of tables for breakfast so no issues getting a space.

Barman was very rude and effectively through us out of the bar area because he wanted to close - wouldn't even let us finish our drinks. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room and charging or attempting to charge people for them in reception is a joke and not what I would expect. Large hotel and lacks any sort of character or design.

Very good

The hotel is in an excellent location in the centre of Gothenburg. It's 3 minutes from the train station, bus station and trams. It's clean and they offer an excellent breakfast. It's within 5 minute walking distance of a shopping centre and there are loads of restaurants and bars near by. Another bonus is that there is a local Co-op 2 minutes from the hotel.

The main thing is I booked a room that was shown in picture for a family. It showed 2 single beds and what looked like 2 full size bunk beads. On arrival we were shocked how cramped the room was and that the bunk beds were actually pull down from the wall. The bunk beds were for a 13 and 15 year old and were not comfortable at all or indeed very suitable. I think these beds would do for 8/9 year olds. So unfortunately the kids did not sleep very well. Also the room was roasting and we were told to turn heating down to minus 2 but it wasn't working. We had friends who joined us who booked a double room and they also had a room that was unbearably hot. They were told exactly the same thing put heating to minus 2 but it didn't work !!. The hotel provided us with fans and we had to keep a small window open for the whole week. However we cannot fault the customer service, as the staff were all so helpful and polite. A fantastic hotel, good breakfast, very clean but in order to avoid disappointment with older kids I am not sure if the bunk bead rooms are a viable option!.

Great Easter break

Great location, great friendly staff and a clean and nice hotel. The breakfast was fantastic, a lot to choose from. We needed to leave early in the morning and could come and have breakfast a little earlier. Would return most definitely 😁

I wish they would have a water kettle in the rooms and not charging 25 kr for a cup of tea for in-house guests. I also think, having a jacuzzi ( the area was very nice) you should offer bath robes and slippers. Maybe not in the rooms but to be able to request it.
