Our experience at the Amadria Park Grand Hotel 4 Opatijska Cvijeta was exceptional in every respect! I would rate it 11 if I could.
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the young, friendly, and discreetly attentive staff, who offered us sparkling wine and chilled refreshments. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to an even more beautiful room, featuring a larger bed and a stunning sea view from one of the hotel’s upper floors.
The room was exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained, with great attention to detail. The bed was huge and perfectly firm, with an abundance of comfortable pillows.
The most pleasant surprise, however, was the hotel’s garage service. We had come to Opatija to attend a concert at the Open-Air Theatre, but due to the rain, the concert was postponed until the following day. The hotel staff kindly provided us with a card allowing multiple garage exits throughout the day until midnight. When we mentioned that we were unsure whether we would be able to return before midnight, they went above and beyond and gave us an additional card for the following day, just in case our departure was delayed.
This thoughtful gesture saved us a great deal of hassle with parking and allowed us to enjoy the concert completely carefree. We are truly grateful to the hotel for such exceptional consideration and hospitality!
We will definitely be coming back.
Almost forgot to mention the breakfast! Huge variety of choices, from healthy vegan options to local specialties like salami and cheese, carefully arranged and presented with some many side dishes; calm atmosphere, smiling personnel. One could stay there for hours if time would permit :)
Well, one of the two main elevators was out of order at the time of our stay. But we did not mind using the stairs. However, for elderly and people carrying suitcase or having little children that was a bit annoying.

The location of the hotel on the small, quaint harbor was fantastic and it is directly on the Lungomare, which was so convenient. The breakfast area was great, with a nice outdoor terrace overlooking the harbor and sea. The breakfast menu was comprehensive and delicious. Our room on the top floor was special, as we so enjoyed sitting out on our balcony and observing the beautiful surroundings. I want to make special note of the front desk staff, as they were wonderful and so helpful to us. Sanja, Rebekah and Martina in particular, as well as the other staff members, including the kitchen crew, made each day of our 6 day stay very special. No one should hesitate in making a decision to book this hotel. You will have absolutely no regrets!

Officially rated as a four-star hotel, but in reality it surpasses many five-star properties. A very pleasant, freshly renovated and bright hotel where you immediately feel welcome. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive: it has been a long time since we experienced such genuine hospitality.
Dinner was served and absolutely delicious, with great attention to detail. Breakfast offered everything a proper hotel breakfast should include, even sparkling wine, which was a lovely touch.
The wellness and spa area truly deserve special mention. Excellent, well-designed saunas, outstanding relaxation areas, and an unforgettable sauna experience. Bravo to the Croatian sauna masters! Out of four sauna treatments, we attended three, and each one was a unique and memorable experience.
A hotel we would happily return to and highly recommend to anyone seeking quality, comfort, and outstanding service.
Honestly, there is nothing negative to mention. Opatija is beautiful - do visit it.
