Elegant hotel,just a few steps from the lungomare promenade.Our room had a balcony and the most beautiful view of the sea! We were allowed to take earlier check in, and check out prolonged.The rooms are big,comfortable,clean!This hotel has the most beautiful terrace where we had our breakfast and dinner.I wanted to last forever😊Parking is available very close for extra fee.

The hotel has an excellent location, right on the main street in the centre of Opatija and very close to the sea. The building has character, the room was spacious, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The parking area is located away from the hotel. Considering the central location and the historic nature of the building, this is understandable, although it does make arrival and departure somewhat inconvenient.
The main disappointment, however, was the half-board experience. I booked half-board mainly for convenience, but on the evening of our stay the hotel restaurant was not operating. We were instead directed to a neighbouring three-star hotel.
I did not expect fine dining, but I can honestly say that the selection and quality of the food were among the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel. My advice to the hotel would be simple: when the hotel kitchen is not operating, half-board should not be offered.
