Having to pay for parking 18€ per day for parking in the hotel grounds was not on, it should be free

Very friendly and efficient receptionist, everything was explained about the hotel facilities. Meal times and bar serving hours were printed out for us on arrival. Wonderful room with a view of the lake. Comfortable beds and lovely bathroom.
I originally booked for two nights but had to reschedule to one night due to family commitments. I arranged this on 27/10/25. A confirmation email was sent by booking .com on the same date.

Good location, friendly staff.
Rooms / Hotel could use an upgrade. Damaged door surroundings, dust/spiderwebs in room. No charging outlets or power outputs next to the bed. On arrival heavy smoke smell in room and hallway, although not allowed to smoke inside. We booked two rooms, rooms were on different floors.
