Authentic and perfect for a short stay in St Malo

The sea view was great and the breakfast room is charming with a little shop very tastefully organised.
The bathroom is extremely compact for some it might be too small. The balcony was also quite small with a table and two chairs squeezed on. The room was for three people.
The location by the beach is nice but it is quite far to walk to the old town Intra Muros and the ferry port.

The hotel was very charming, the location was great on the seafront, and the bar/terrace/breakfast room was really good. There is an excellent view of the bay from the bar area.
The staff were helpful and friendly.
The breakfast was good with a fair amount of choice.
We reserved a parking space - there was sufficient space but if we hadn't managed to turn and reverse into the space it would have been very difficult to get back out
The room was a little cramped, there was a fan but no air con (thankfully it wasn't too hot), and because of the layout of the landing it was quite noisy when our neighbours were going in/out of their room.
There was no lift and the upstairs rooms would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
Unfortunately we cut our stay short but that was due to illness and not the fault of the hotel.

Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Night watchman really helpful.
Amazing location near the stunning beach.
Good, simple breakfast options.
Restaurant well located and decent food.
Room was very small for a family and a few parts were dirty (curtains, under bed). No aircon. Bathroom tiny and not suitable for >2 people. Very little storage so we lived out of our bags.
Restaurant staff (open at lunch and dinner, not connected to the breakfast service which was handled by hotel staff) were unbelievably rude to us, service was poor.
