The position to all restaurants and shops in Chewang is a positive for this resort.Walking distance to everything but far enough away from the noise of Chewang. Stayed in the deluxe ocean view room which was excellent.
Staff and facilities are also excellent.
The pool deck chairs are too close together so not peaceful or relaxing which is a shame because the pool is great.
Needs to have bottle water available around the pool complementary.

We received a warm welcome with an arrival drink whilst we checked in, and all staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
The rooms are kept very clean, and we had a lovely view of the pool. The gardens are beautifully kept too with many birds to watch.
Breakfast (worth going a bit earlier to avoid the rush when it’s busy) has everything you could think of.
Not far to walk into the centre and great walks along the beach.
There are no areas at breakfast, or pool/beach areas just for adults/older children which is fine when the hotel is quieter, but when it is at full capacity with lots of young families, it would be nice to have a small area to have a slightly quieter start to the day.
When the island has an electricity shortage, the hotel has a generator to keep things going which is convenient for continuing a/c lights etc, but unfortunately very loud for those in the rooms towards the back of the hotel.
We only found out what it was after asking, and the management were great to respond about this but it may just be worth the hotel sending residents a WhatsApp to inform them of the situation, and offering those affected a compensatory drink?
The airport is very close however it’s really only a few periods of the day when you notice this and probably affects all hotels in this area of the island.

Great hotel for those who take the rooms in the beach wing like we did, direct access to the beach, pool and everything. The other wings are further away from the main part of the hotel and more crowded
Although we were informed in advance about a vegan diet, it didn't feel like any efforts were being made to offer particularly suitable dishes, but we made do with the existing selection, which was quite rich overall at the breakfast buffet. The hotel restaurants, which charge a fee, don't have enough suitable selection and no changes were made to make adjustments.

Difficult to rate this hotel, we booked it for my birthday and arrived with big expectations, from day 2 the buggy drivers ruined our stay, unfortunately our rooms were in the very back of the resort on the other side of the road and to reach, hotel lobby, breakfast and beach you have to take the buggy, the buggy drivers (except of one of them) were not just unfriendly but they also drove very dangerously, they would not even wait for you to sit down before they start driving, every time you take a buggy they act like they are doing you a favor and make you feel bad about it, completely ruined our stay, for my bday we left the hotel and went to a nearby resort and spend the day at the beach. the only reason I am giving 5 points and not less is that the Manager Chris (who was unfortunately only informed about all these issues the night before our departure) was very nice and he tried to rectify as much as he could for the last few hours of our stay. Just for him I wish I could more positively about my stay however in hindsight it was a waste of money and waste of time. Spa was nice and breakfast was nice.
unfortunately not a 5 star hotel in many aspects, check-in was already unfriendly, buggy drivers horrible and dangerous, rooms are old and outdated, beach area is not nice, if you're unlucky your room will be at the very end of the hotel area on the other side of the road, unfortunately not much positive things to stay for this stay and the overall experience
