Free parking at the hotel was great especially for being located on promenade. Staff friendly and welcoming, room was small but well equipped. I had a sea view and was lovely. Did not use the bar area so cannot comment. I did have the free continental breakfast and was lovely, lots of choice, cereal, yoghurt, meat, cheese, toast, teas/coffees/fruit juice, fresh fruit, pastries etc. The breakfast room is lovely. The hotel do not serve meals so went to the local chip shop round the corner which I can revommend as fish was lovely and fresh with crispy batter. Cooked to order too. Bed was ok but slightly hard mattress for my liking but was comfortable enough. Only thing that was annoying was the noise from outside the bar at night DJ Locker but after bar closed it was quiet. Would recommend and stay again if im in the area. Good value and returning visitors get a 10% discount too.
Noise from bar downstairs as in sea facing room but was quiet about midnight after bar closed. .
