The bedlinen and towels were good quality and clean. The shower room was clean and the water piping hot. It was a chill night and the heating warmed the room up well. We’d traveled a distance so it was good that we had keys to the main door as well enabling us to go out to grab some food.
Text messages before our stay were good and the couple of questions I had were answered promptly.
We weren’t able to have breakfast as we had to leave but the owner made sure we took some pastries with us which was lovely!
The decor in our room was a bit tired but we’d booked one night at short notice on a tight budget. My mattress had a bit of a dip in it but I still slept which was what mattered. The shower room was quite snug and, again, a bit tired but it didn’t affect the function of the room. None of these things would put me off staying there again.

The breakfast was about the best of the stay
The place could do with an update in decoration, the beds are very cheap and uncomfortable, the window in our room looked out onto a dirty backyard
