The Broadwater Guest House

David the host is amazing. Topping up crisps and chocolates in the room. A surprise piece of cake for when we returned after our walk, and home made Eccles cakes given to us for the train journey home. The self service breakfast selection was the biggest and best quality I have ever seen, inc. granola, overnight oats, fruit, yoghurts, fruit juices, pastries etc. etc. with lots of choice of each. You also get a home cooked breakfast, cooked to order, however you like, and any variations David is more than happy to make for you. The cooked english breakfast was the best my partner has ever tasted, and the tea was in an ornate antique tea pot. The whole place was immaculate and there were unique gorgeous decorations throughout. There were fresh flowers in the bedroom and bathroom. Luxury hairdryer, straighteners as well as shampoo, conditioner and other body lotions. There were even eye masks and ear plugs. The comfiest bed that we sunk into, as well as luxurious quilt and pillows. Our sea view was amazing and the weather was great for our 15K Saturday afternoon walk. David made us feel at home as soon as we arrived, and I felt like I had known him for years. Couldn't recommend anywhere else that I would rather stay, and I have stayed in a lot of Hotels and B&B's across the UK. Can't wait to return. Thanks for everything David. Having to leave.

A superb guest house. Beautifully appointed with lots of extras, every need catered for and more. The room was fabulous, plenty of treats, the best stocked refreshments I’ve come across, mini fridge, hair straighteners and drier and even binoculars to watch the birds in the bay. Bathroom and shower were fantastic. David is a superb host, so much choice for breakfast. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely everything!.The sea view room, the quirky decor, the cleanliness, mini fridge, David the owner oh and the best breakfast you will ever eat. It's a perfect location on the seafront at the "nicer" end of the promenade. The attention to detail is flawless. I've booked up for another two stays!

Everything!! Perfect location and accommodation was outstanding. David the host was so friendly and helpful and cooked an amazing breakfast each morning, plus such a fantastic choice of cereals, porridge and catered for guests with any allergies. The rooms were beautifully decorated and had everything you could ever need. A great deal of thought has been put into creating such a wonderful, comfortable guesthouse.
