Excellent country house hotel, incredible building and gardens with fantastic staff. Check in was excellent and very welcoming, room was as expected with some nice touches, restaurant service and food was excellent, bar area was cosy and welcoming and the morning walk around the gardens was fantastic!!
The room could have done with a little TLC showing signs of wear to the wardrobe and bathroom fittings....

Lovely building in beautiful location. Room had double aspect and view of lawns to the front. Good facilities in room including blackout curtains, comfy bed, great bathroom, everything spotlessly clean. I had requested a particular room and hotel was able to allocate it to us, so that was great. Very good breakfast, also nice bar and sitting rooms.
Worn carpet on step in room is a potential trip hazard. Dinner was a bit disappointing for the price. Shame there was no indoor space where we could sit and enjoy a morning coffee without music playing.

It was clean, staff was great. We relaxed and we enjoyed the time in the pool.
Sadly we had really bad view. We had too look at the dumpster which wasn't nice.

Venue is beautiful, located in lovely grounds. Breakfast was very tasty.
Breakfast restaurant - the service areas were backed up with lots of people in the restaurant. Staples that most people wanted like fried eggs and hash browns were always running out. Took 3 attempts of going back and forth and finally got a hash brown (not the egg though)
Due to the weather (heat wave) the rooms were unbearably hot. We had two fans which unfortunately did next to nothing. A lot of money to spend when you can't stand to be in the room due to the heat.
