Lovely property, gardens looked immaculate, clean comfortable rooms, amazing service & friendly staff. We stayed for my partners 30th birthday and they were very welcoming with complementary drinks in the room & at dinner.
Room was quite hot, radiator wasn’t on but there was a Dyson fan provided which helped (we stayed 27th October!)

Room was large, and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well stocked. The food was really good. Nicely located to go for walks. Room stocked with tea and coffee making and a fridge - for the coffee lovers, its just Nescaff.
The window cleaner banging brushes on my window at 8am with no warning was a bit of a shock.
There was a wedding in progress when I arrived so the welcome was a bit off, and it was noisy into the night.
Found it weird to have such a large room with only one chair.

I liked the location as we wanted to walk in nature. Breakfast was average. Hotel rooms ok, could do with new carpets and the door frames instead bathrooms were chipped off a bit...
The restaurant menu was very limited I thought.

Room was spacious, grounds and outdoor areas well maintained, breakfast was good
Staff members were dismissive and at times unhelpful, loose floorboard caused ankle injury, carpet in room was a little dated, bedside lamps hard to operate, evening meal disappointing
