Penmere Manor has a homely charm, it is clean, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The staff are helpful and friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.
It is within walking distance from the centre but it’s hilly so a uber is more convenient

The hotel was beautiful with comfortable furniture, good service and lovely views. You can sit in the hot tub and watch the leafy trees outside the window. The staff were very helpful. It was nice and quiet and had lovely hotel grounds for sitting outside with a drink.
Staff let us leave our bags at the hotel while we explored the town on our last day after we checked out.
The venue is not particularly accessible without a car because it is down a lane with no footpath. There is a bus stop 5 minutes away but buses dont run very late. I think the last one was about 7pm.
The train is about 12 mins walk.
There aren't any restaurants around the hotel so you will need to go into Falmouth for food. We didn't eat in the restaurant at the hotel but we did have the light bites at the bar and they were delicious and good value for money. We had duck, whitebait and olives. Outstandingly tasty!
The staff were really friendly and helpful but because of the season when we went, they had a small crew available so you need to go to reception to ask for a drink from the bar.
