Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff at all times. A four foot 'single' bed. The low level bathroom light. A radio and books in the room. Convenient central location.
Trudging up two flights of stairs with my luggage. But next time I'll ask for a different room.

Great location. The building has atmosphere.
Tiny room .... booking .com does not clearly show just how small some of the rooms are. Hotel management told me afterwards that only an average size is shown on B.com website. Very small and uncomfortable double bed.
I've used this hotel at least 4 times over the past 2 years. This was my worst experience, I know there are better rooms available. This was not good value for money.
