Next to the lift but didn't hear a thing outside so good soundproofing
Surprisingly warm night so great to have Aircon
Great breakfast which started @ 6:30 so great for an early getaway.; good choice with fresh button mushrooms & proper bacon!
Great to get there in time to get a parking space..£15 v good deal for overnight parking in York & hotel very easy to get to by car (& train as only 5 mins from the station)
Decent hairdryer in the room..not attached to the wall
Everything in walking distance..20 mins from York Barbican
Room carpet wasn't clean... a previous occupant had dropped a sticky label on the carpet & then it had been shredded into the carpet..so it looked like a snowstorm & was sticky underfoot right next to the bed :(
Booked a twin room but the room had 4 single beds not 2, which was a bit weird!!
