The Ship Inn - Sandgate

Amazing hosts! We had the most relaxing night listening to the sea in our lovely room. Couldn’t be a better sea view. Great attention to detail and gorgeous brand new bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and such a treat having it served to our room! Will definitely be back!!

There was no available parking as advertised. Owners were lovely and helped us with some sightseeing for our trip. Breakfast was excellent.

Parking is not available and we should have been advised that it was on street parking. The area was busy when we arrived and there was confusion about where to go.

We were delighted with the Sea View Suite and it's location. The beach was just a few steps away plus a pleasant 30min seafront walk to Folkstone and the Harbour Arm. The bed was beautifully stylish and comfortable with lovely comfy pillows and gorgeous cushions and throw, which made the room look and feel really special. We especially loved having a table set by the window, overlooking the sea, where we enjoyed our freshly cooked breakfast which was delivered to our room. The complimentary toiletries were a nice touch, as were the tea and coffee bags, biscuits and choice of milk.

It was difficult to contact the property. A couple of phone numbers on the internet were incorrect, including the one on the Google listing which went through to a man around the corner. There was also an incorrect number listed that was unobtainable. We eventually found the correct number through Booking.com. Once we got through Stuart was very helpful and I have saved the number in my phone for the future.
