This was a lovely flat with amazing sea views. The flat was presented to a high standard and felt comfortable. We were delighted to find lots of little extras for 'a day at the beach' e.g. picnic plates etc. I was particularly impressed by all the equipment we found in the Kitchen. It genuinely had everything we needed (apart from a tin opener!) Great pots, pans and utensils. The washing machine was an added bonus for washing through our bathing suits. Being able to walk out of the building directly onto the beach was fabulous!
We had a call from Sykes holiday cottages to inform us that the hosts had found a couple of pairs of our shoes and could we provide an address for them to be posted back. It was a voice message so I called Sykes back (it took a VERY long time for them to answer) only to be told that they knew nothing about it. I provided my address. The operator promised to 'phone us back but they never bothered to! I had to have several attempts to call Sykes but the wait times on the 'phone were often over 30 minutes! No shoes!

The Eaves is a great flat. It's comfortable, cosy, clean, and very tastefully decorated. The Seaviews are great, and access to cafés, restaurants, and bus services is great too. It's very well equipped. The owner responded quickly to a maintenance problem and got it sorted. He was easily contactable and very helpful.
Parking is a potential problem, particularly for packing and unpacking days. It's potluck if you can find somewhere close by. Most of the week, I used the buses and left my car parked several minutes walk away..
Otherwise I would highly recommend this flat.

Wonderful location, right on the beach. Safe, because we were on the 2nd floor. Great eaves windows meant we could leave them open at night to listen to the waves and enjoy the cooling breezes. Really well provisioned apartment, had everything you needed.
Only issue is parking, which isn't allocated, but strangely we were always able to find a park at the front along the street, and the car we had was tiny, which was ideal. Not a lot they can do to change this, maybe if the owners had a Resident's Permit which guests could use, otherwise you have to move your car every 2 hours.
