Nice clean spacious room. Great shower. Nice pub in a nice setting. Large tarmac car park, easy for my motorbike
Room a bit dark. Didn't like the motorbike parking bays, too close to road so parked my bike in a car space away from road, under a camera.

The location was perfect! Just under 2 miles from town and on a main road. This made it easy to locate. I could hear the Swallow Falls from my room - that was a treat. I wasn't expecting a door onto a decking area with table and chairs. This was a luxury as it meant I didn't have to traipse in and out of the hotel with my belongings. I emailed in advance about the possibility of having a couple of slices of toast 30 minutes before breakfast officially opened. They obliged - nothing was too much trouble. The staff were helpful, friendly and remembered why I was there.
My stay wasn't long enough. I'd have happily stayed here for a week.

Bedroom was clean and tea coffee etc in room was good standard
Food was average. Not much comfort in bar area. All tables were basically for food service and not particularly comfortable for sitting having a drink. Outside area nice
