Plenty of car parking space. Well located for taxi to town. Well appointed room and excellent breakfast.

The staff was wonderful. The breakfasts were delicious. Our room overlooked the main road and was very noisy (we were prepared for that from previous reviews). Because there is no AC we tried to sleep with the windows open but it was impossible. Our room was over the bar and the music started 6:45-7am in the morning and went until 11pm each night. It pounded up through the floor. I got to know the play list. Another problem was that we only had a duvet during our warm August stay. We asked for a light weight blanket and were told there wasn't one available.

It was comfortable, clean and cosy

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was an absolute delight and truly the highlight of our stay - fresh, well-prepared, and thoroughly enjoyable.

Unfortunately, the downsides outweighed the positives during our stay. The carpet in the room had significant staining, and although we were informed on the morning we were due to checkout that it was due to be replaced, this did impact our experience. While there were some lovely pieces of furniture in the suite, the sofa was extremely uncomfortable—it felt as though there was little to no padding, making it difficult to relax. The room was also very stuffy. Although two fans were provided, one was largely ineffective, and it took a long time to cool the room to a comfortable temperature. The complimentary refreshments felt limited for the price and star rating. The provision consisted of still water (though it was unclear whether this was tap or filtered), four coffee pods—two of which were decaffeinated—and only two tea bags. A small addition such as biscuits would have been expected. We were also concerned about some safety aspects of the room layout. The step down into the wet room (WC/shower) and the slight step up into the bedroom both presented potential slip/trip hazards. This is something that should ideally be highlighted at the point of booking.
