Lovely staff, very clean room, very comfortable bed
The hotel is being refurbished so there is no bar or restaurant at the moment, but they are planning to do that in their next phase
The price was very reasonable
The hotel is an old,, historic building and will be fabulous once fully refurbished
I found a lovely Indian Restaurant nearby
I know that on some evenings there are good bands that play in Burslem, but not on a Monday or Tuesday
I suspect the development of the hotel will boost the future prospects for businesses in Burslem eg a sit down cafe + for current hospitality venues to stay open for longer
I have no complaints about the hotel + wish the owners well fir their plans for refurbishment
It would be useful to have a list of the nicer restaurants + pubs nearby. Unfortunately, many pubs + restaurants are shut on a Monday + Tues night + those that are open shut early. There are takeaways, but no sit down cafe in Burslem

I loved the architecture, spacious room, on site parking within the courtyard, helpful staff. The staff were eager and attentive for feedback so I gave a higher rating than I would have. I was thrilled to find its close to the Lemmy statue and memorial bar.
Significant road noise from 4am with only old single glazed windows, no blackout curtains. A range of minor things that should have been sorted in advance. The hotel isn’t really ready yet, having reopened. The price should have been lower.

Toilets in rooms need updating. Hallway carpets also need updating
