Very good

The bed was super comfy and the duvet was amazing! Really great nights sleep. Despite the listing saying they don't provide breakfast, they do offer a self service light breakfast of cereals and fruits, and at weekends partner with a local cafe for an amazing brunch.

Our room was ground floor looking out over the beer garden - there was nothing stopping people looking in unless you drew the full curtain across, blocking out all daylight, A privacy curtain or film on the lower window would have solved this feeling of exposure.

Good

Nice size rooms and bed was comfy. Good beers available in the bar. Only a couple of mins from the city centre.

Price was a little expensive especially as it didn't include cooked breakfast.

it was lovely

the bedrooms are beautifully decorated, I love the little continental breakfast bar, so you can help yourself to a good selection of cereal, fruit and yogurt, it’s easy access to the town centre.

it would be nice to be able to have a meal in the restaurant, bar.

all good, great staff, bedroom good, nice bedding , shower good, not the hottest, but it was a cold weekend, theres definitely a need mirror in the bedroom, continental free breakfast was good

Almost perfect! They really went the extra mile for everything! Shame the neighbours were loud.

The staff were incredible. They went the extra mile for our wedding night! We had roses in the room, heart-shaped coasters, a hand written card from the staff. The room was incredibly large, and immaculately clean! The internet was stable enough to easily stream videos to our tablet and connect two handheld games consoles to the internet too. There was a help yourself, breakfast nook, just near the entrance. Perfect if you're peckish during the night or if you really need that extra tea bag. It had a wonderful selection too! We'll definitely be staying here again when we next visit Lancaster! It was almost perfect!

The people in the room next door kept arguing loudly all night, but that's not the hotel's fault. Can't help your neighbours sometimes after all! Also massive vans/trucks going down the road at all hours of the morning. Again, can't be helped.

Excellent stay in ideal city location.

Very friendly welcome, we had previously seen the reviews and were a little sceptical, but nothing to worry about. Everything was excellent as per the reviews. We really enjoyed it and would have no hesitation about staying again. Thanks very much for an excellent host. Ian and Elaine.

Nothing. Clean very comfortable beds. As much continental breakfast as you liked. We arrived from Tenerife so needed it to be warm and was not disappointed.

Ideal for a one night stop over on my way to the ferry at Heysham

Clean spacious room. Excellent en suite. Basic breakfast supplies including fresh fruit available whenever I wanted them was a bonus.

The location of this hotel was ideal for walking around city centre and visiting the Duke's theatre.

The "grab and go" breakfast was extremely handy and adequate for our needs. Bar served craft ales and was not noisy as closed at 10pm.

Superb

No breakfast, but cereal, milk and yogurt along with fresh fruit was available outside the rooms every morning. Location was very central to the town centre and most things of interest. Very friendly staff and exceptional value for money.

I can't really give any negative feedback. I thought the price paid was very cheap and I would have expected to pay more for what was offered.

This was a very short notice booking and worked very well for us. WOuld definitely go back if we nee

comfortable room. Unexpected breakfast bar. Very polite staff. We liked the large bathroom which was very well fitted and decorated.

some interesting holes in the wall near the kettle. Bed was a bit high but very comfortable. Interesting window blind....it was see through, although there was a curtain to compensate.
