The Red House Guest House

Very nice lady who runs the guest house, very accommodating, excellent location for my needs will certainly use again in the future

Parking could be difficult depending on the time of day you arrive, however I did get a spot within an hour close by

The Red House was in walkable proximity to the train station and very easy to find. I liked the architecture of the building and the look. Stella was so welcoming on my arrival that I instantly felt at ease and at home. My room was clean and very comfortable, all the linen felt fresh and I had a good night’s sleep. There was tea and coffee makings in the room as well. The cooked breakfast in the morning was also lush… My overnight stay was very pleasant and if I’m up in that neck of the woods again, I would definitely stay in the Red House again.

Nice staff and clean comfy room. Had a separate shared bathroom which was convenient to access. Last minute booking and staff stayed open to let me in.

There wasn’t really anything I disliked but I did find the road parking area was busy.

Proximity to town centre

Very dated rooms, smallest single bed I’ve ever slept in. The shower was very poor and didn’t spray into the bath rather across it.
