The staff are always lovely here. And the breakfast was very tasty with a range of hot and cold options with allergens clearly labelled.
The rooms are tastefully decorated and are somewhat sound-proofed against corridor traffic.
Sadly our room smelt of sewage when we arrived - I knew the hotel was full so didn't ask to move but I did report to reception who came up with some air freshener a while later. Unfortunately the problem still existed and definitely marred my stay as it work me up early the next morning.
The windows to the room (one of the 'superior' rooms) were filthy which I wouldn't expect for this price point but it didn't affect my stay this time.

The breakfast has good choices.
On arrival, there were dirty dishes outside our room.

A lovely surprise to be upgraded.
The room was cold we couldn’t get the heating temperature to go up. A very disturbed nights sleep.

Location, comfortable room& good breakfast
There was an annoying noise of a fan system starting up every few minutes. Could even hear it sleeping with earplugs. Most likely something to do with the aircon system. Annoying enough that I wouldn’t stay there again.
