This hotel is very centrally located in Launceston, within easy walking distance of everything in the city centre. Because we were there on a Sunday night and we weren't sure what restaurants would be open, we opted to eat at the hotel and the meal was fabulous. Parking was also excellent.
The only negative was the overwhelming "fragrance" of air freshener in the room. We tried opening a window to dissipate it a bit but the windows don't open very far.

Good location, comfy bed.
Quite outdated interior and amenities, check in took a long time and there were issues with the key machine, the bathroom layout is awkward and the shower leaked a lot of water onto the bathroom floor.
