The gardens are very lovely and the photography focuses on this Lots of freebies. Things provided but space is the issue in the Queen Suite.

This property markets itself very well. But carefully check the size of the room you book. The Queen "suite" is v small and not laid out like an average hotel room (no cupboard for clothes/no rack for case/no table large enough to work on) Big squeeze for a couple for 3 days. The shower is also in a recessed spa bath which again takes up square footage (the bar fridge is in the bathroom) I was disappointed because I was particularly looking forward to it. In future for non generic accomm I will d/check sq footage.

An amazing place to stay - wonderful grounds. so peaceful. The next door Cellar Door was fantastic. Great spot for an afternoon drink.

Our host was great and officiant, nice quiet setting beautifully layout we were in the attic room and friend were on one level room, fabulous pool and beautiful gardens and a great place to unwind

So our room, our bathroom door would not shut or lock, our extractor was so so dirty, cobwebs, also our hand towel in the bathroom looked like it had never been changed we didn’t use it it had little black spiders on it from the moment we arrived and yes we should have said something but we expected better for something that was so luxury either they are not checking their cleaning team. Our friends said that in their room the refrigerator keep switching on and off all night buzzing in their room very noisy and irritating and disturb their sleep, which I got as one night I went downstairs to our bathroom and as I passed through the kitchen and I herd ours switching on buzzing and then switching out not good if your in a small room.

We loved relaxing by the pool and the gardens. It was an easy location to get into town.

The spa bath was great but a bit of a step down to get into it.

The whole experience wxcept the drivewau tio get there. Our very clean car was filthy which was disappointing :(

The driveway was awful

The gardens and pool are just amazing.. The rooms give off a country feel which ties in perfectly with the location..

The spa bath/shower in the room was a little awkward to enter and exit. But it didn’t have any effect on our enjoyment of the stay.

Room was a bit small for us - sometimes hard to tell online Have to either cook a bbq (we did) or go out for food TV had a conniption so had to stream on iPhone
