Such a beautiful resort! Loved the fact that there is an indoor and outdoor pool (my favourite being the outdoor pool). It was kid friendly (we’re traveling with two kids, 5 & 10 years old). It was the perfect place to start our vacation in Portugal. It’s relatively close to Lisbon. We spent our first day unwinding from our flight by swimming. Then it was lovely to return back to the pool from our exploration of Pena Palace and Sintra. We did have a rental car. So if you’re planning on visit8’h Sintra and using public transit it might not be convenient for you as it is more suburban but it was perfect for us. The breakfast was exceptional with many options for everyone.
We were disappointed by the lunch. We ordered the pizza, pasta for the kids and a hamburger. The hamburger was delicious but the pizza appeared to be a frozen one that they just warmed up and the pasta tasted like it was canned…neither seemed fresh…and the meal was not cheap. It was disappointing.

Our unit was a equipped with all conceivable conveniences including a washer and dryer. Our unit had three outdoor patios, a roof top patio, and lovely main floor patio with an excellent view of the Ocean. It felt like we were in the ocean. Near to our unit and in association with this complex golf was available at a discounted rate.

Plenty of green areas, pet-friendly and nice structure and breakfast.
We didn’t get any cleaning during our stay. We raised the issue to the manager for future stays and guest. I hope this was an exception.

it was quiet, spacious, the spa and swimming areas were nice, golf also seemed nice
they advertise as a dog friendly hotel but you need to book a very expensive and specific room + pay extra for the dog on top (and they don’t even provide food bowls or a bed) and you need to keep them locked in the room at all times. they are not allowed to access or walk anywhere on the property, which made this factor miss leading.
service was slacking, they tried to scam us by charging double for the dog at the end of the checkout.
the food could’ve been a lot better especially for lunch and dinner, definetly not worth the price and the restaurant seemed dirty.
the celings of the hotel rooms had dead flies smudged all over them with blood stains included.
