The restaurant was very pleasant with a good selection of dishes on the menu.
Plenty of restaurant availability on the night we stayed.
The small pool was quite busy with last minute swimmers.
Other restaurants were available in the area.
No real concerns.

A regular stopover going either north or south. The dining room has been refurbished and is much better now and a pleasure to visit. Dinner and breakfast were satisfactory - not culinary highlights but enjoyable nonetheless. Despite the hot weather, sitting outside near to the pool after a long drive was enjoyable
Paying for drinks, meals etc, when taken, rather than on departure, can be irritating but is bearable

location is convenient for passing by the city on the way to somewhere else!
The car charger was working as it should and importantly was not occupied by fossil fuel cars just parking lazily. The food was good for evening service and breakfast.
it is slightly tired and has weirdly overdone clashing decor…. style over substance and functionality. The most important thing was that the bed had some sort of topper on it that clearly had a plastic sheet somewhere in its construction…..it was therefore sweaty and uncomfortable. The room guide said that breakfast was available from 4am to noon to accommodate all types of travellers and sine we had a long journey ahead and had woken very early (sticking to the bed!) we tried it at 5am……. however that is now not the case, it starts at 6.30
