Locatie is prima; bakkerij en pizzeria om de hoek. Op ca 20min wandelen sta je bovendien midden in Chalon-Sur-Saône waar verschillende leuke restaurantjes zitten.
Badkamer is prima, maar niet hoogstaand. Voor lange mensen is de douche iets wat klein.

Staff/owners were very friendly and helpful in providing spontaneously info on the single restaurant (=pizzeria) in the neighbourhood. Also at check-out the owner informed us about the nearest grocery store to get water and food to continue our journey home.
Also the beds were made nice and clean.
The hotel as a whole is out-dated. Rooms and corridors are painted/decorated in screamy colours, so manage your expectations well in advance. There’s no elevator so bear in mind when you need to carry have luggage to the 2nd floor. Keep windows closed to keep tiger mosquito’s outside!
Breakfast is very basic but coffee is really good.
