The room was new and according to photos. Exceeded the expectations for a 3 start hotel.
the breakfast was rather poor. No great variaty and the staff did not replenish the food in time.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Champerret Elysees in Paris. One of the biggest advantages of the hotel is its location, very close to a metro station. This makes it extremely convenient for tourists, regardless of what they have planned to see and do around the city.
The rooms looked nice and were cleaned every day. I also appreciated the fact that bottles of mineral water were provided daily, which was a thoughtful and useful touch, especially after a long day of sightseeing.
The receptionists were kind and helpful throughout our stay. We were also able to leave our luggage at the hotel before the official check-in time, which was very convenient and allowed us to start exploring Paris without having to carry our bags around.
Overall, I had a very good experience and would gladly recommend Hotel Champerret Elysees to anyone looking for a comfortable and conveniently located place to stay in Paris.
My only criticism is the breakfast, which costs an additional €20 per person. I found this rather expensive, especially considering that we couldn't spend €20 in total on breakfast at the nearby bakeries during our entire stay.

If you have medical issues where you need to consume food frequently please be aware of the 150€ fee flagged on the inside of the door for bridging food items in the room: this is rather annoying as it prevents guests from enjoying their room to the fullest during the stay.
We've avoided bringing even water from the outside as we didn't want to be fined, dare I say in a week where the temperature outside went above 30⁰C so a treat in privacy would've been nice. The sign does not specify if this is limited to pungent-smelling/greasy food which would be quite logical, instead refers to "any food and beverages".
The part of the smoking fee makes no sense. Everyone is fined 150€ for smoking, but Germans get a discount and pay a 65€ fee for deodorization if they smoke.
The cleaning staff sometimes put our shoes on top of the table when cleaning. Mind you, Parisian streets are chic but definitely not void of germs and dirt so finding the shoes on top of valuable items on the table was quite appalling.
Despite the Superior room upgrade, several things were not up to par, starting from the limited hooks to hang towels, which ended up always falling on the ground, to the bathtub plug that would not budge so water would pool every time we'd take a shower. TV didn't work either.
Sheets are probably cleaned with harsh chemicals because both my partner and I ended up with some minor skin outbreaks around our temples/forehead from resting our heads on the pillows.
