The hotel is a gorgeous building and in its day must have just been a stunner. They are trying to maintain the former grandeur and charm. Breakfasts were good. We enjoyed our time there.
They have put a casino in on the bottom floor so the rooms don't have access to the mezzanine which I thought was a little sad, but overall, it is a really lovely old hotel.

This is a charmingly old but freshly renovated hotel and a must for all fans of the film "The Grand Budapest Hotel". The rooms are bright and clean, and many have a nice view on the adjacent park. The front desk staff is exceptionally nice and helpful.
It's a pity that the wonderful atrium is now completely sealed off and not visible from the hotel area. The waiters in the breakfast restaurant are somewhat grumpy and lazy. And the coffee machine was broken on our day 3, so we had to find breakfast outside.

Location was very good and beautiful views from our room
The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Such a tired building. The tiles in reception were really dangerous and the floor boards walking across to the breakfast room.
We found the casino very sad indeed. No glamour there.
