Relaxed comfortable hotel close to the old town of Evian via funicular railway. Beautiful lake view from our balcony and pretty grounds with immaculate vegetable garden and several peaceful areas to sit under the trees in deckchairs. Nice swimming pool area with sun loungers. Good breakfast and excellent evening menu - particularly delicious desserts. All staff were extremely welcoming to our dog and offered him water several times at the restaurant and bar.
There were so many wasps in the courtyard that we could not enjoy breakfast outside!

What a charming property!! We loved our tour night stay and enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner during our stay. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The shuttle service was a bonus. Evian is amazing and we highly recommend La Verniaz!

A charming and inviting hotel complex with beautiful gardens. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. A nearby funicular provides convenient access to the town center and the lakeside, making it easy to get around.

The staff were wonderful and the place was decent. We really enjoyed the pool and work out area. The breakfast was typical hotel fair but reasonable.
Our room was claustrophobically small. Bath/shower was almost impossible to use since you have to sit in the bottom of the tub to shower. Getting into the "grand hotel" required a special key and we only were given one, so it was awkward to access the entire building.
