My favourite one on Paris - well located, good value for the money, quiet street, comfortable bedroom, great staff and good breakfast

Overall Hotel Taylor offers a good experience. The hotel is nicely located and easy to walk to a lot of places from here, or just a few minutes to the local metro. The lobby also has some nice areas to sit and relax.
Our room was simple, clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfy and we appreciated the excellent air con in our room.
The staff were nice and allowed us to leave our bags there to pick up later on check out.
Unfortunately from our room we could hear the very loud noise of the stairs and doors slamming frequently (I think from the lift?). For a hotel, allowing doors to slam so loudly really disrupts the experience and this was across multiple floors.
In addition to that, there’s currently construction starting at 7:30am that woke us up every morning (except Sunday). I had to sleep with ear plugs in just to try and make it through the night undisturbed.
