Having been traveling for business the last 30 years and visiting reputable hotel names I have to admit that Fairmont Hamburg is indeed as per rating. Unique! Loved every bit of it.

The location was wonderful, the design of the Hotel with all the characteristics of a “Grand Hotel” was beautiful! The rooms were lovely. And the staff was friendly!
The “garden view “ name of the “garden view rooms” was a misnomer. There was no garden, photos attached.
No pool, that was a big disappointment.
The coffee at breakfast was not good unfortunately. We tried all versions on offer, but we were disappointed by the coffee. The coffee in the hotel rooms however was very good!

Lovely reception and bar area but a bit busy sometimes . Great staff. Huge bedrooms and lovely bathrooms and shower facilities

Great location, beautiful antique furniture, comfortable beds
Staff can’t smile, they convey the message that the guests can be lucky to be allowed to stay here, very disappointing!
