The small hotel is just a few hundred meters away from the Aussenalster and 5 minutes walk away from the "heart" the district Winterhude in Hamburg. The hotel itself and the rooms and facilities are already a bit older but have a certain charme and the staff is super friendly and helpful.

Great location. Plenty of groceries and restaurants nearby. Also a nice park not far away.
Room had a small fridge, coffee maker and some dishes.
It was boiling hot due to the ongoing heatwave, and the fan did not help much.

The hotel staff were fantastic, they were so helpful particularly the lady who was on in the mornings. We liked the location, which was central to the area and it wasn’t too far to walk to anywhere.
It was very, very noisy, not inside the hotel particularly but in the street outside. With the weather being so warm we had our windows open and we were on the 1st floor. It was a busy street and with a couple of restaurants on it it was busy until late at night. We heard all the people having loud conversations. I realise this is not the hotel’s fault but something I thought they should be made aware of.
When we booked we asked for one of the rooms to be on the 1st floor and one on the 3rd, but both were on the 1st floor, why ask the question when booking?
