Breakfast was great and included in the Booking price.

Kempton is in Bavaria, Germany's most affluent and hence most expensive state. I paid 353. 70 Euro for 3 nights with breakfast included, and consider the money to have been well spent. I arrived in Kempton during the great heatwave of Summer 2026 and, on reaching the hotel, was immediately given the plastic access card to my room. The room had a small fridge --- which was exactly what was needed. I could store both foodstuffs and drinks (fizzy drinks like orange, lemonade etc). The provision of a fridge in my room was just great --- given the weather. The breakfast was an appealling mixture of cold plate (cold meats and chesses) and hot fried food, and was beautifully cooked and presented. I made the breakfast the main meal of the day. I think some of the other guests did the same. Another postive was the hotels location. Hotel Bayerische Hof is located less that15 minutes walking distance from Kempton Town centre, which, like so many towns and cities in Germany, consists largely of predestrian only walkways that abound with shops selling everything you'd ever need.

Alas for me, with my rough German, the TV did not have an English language station. My German, as stated, wasn't / isn't good enough to understand the full blown language delivered at normal speaking tempo. I didn't have a smartphone, which is a must if you are trying to follow events. Perhaps we go on holidays TO FORGET, just for a while, the problems of this world.

Parking can be an issue sometimes

Great breakfast. The room is very clean and the staff is nice and friendly. This was a quick stop over for us with easy parking. The summer bar across the road has a nice view and the staff was very nice and friendly too.

We ate at Greek restaurant next door, very rude staff they don't like tourists.
