Location of the hotel was excellent. It was right at Neuer Markt area, very close to Neuer Markt tram station with possibility to easily commute to Rostock hauptbahnhof ( central station). The suit we stayed in were fantastic. It was specious, nicely decorated, fitted with comfortable sofa, table, chair and bed. There was a nice coffee machine too. Breakfast was good with reasonably good spread. Staffs were generally friendly and helpful.
Check-in process was a bit lengthy - had to fill in form with some details ( e.g. passport number, nationality etc.) of every guest, which was a bit tiring after a long travel. We reached at late hours and the main door of the hotel was closed. Though there was staff at reception, it took us some time to understand how to call him. We travelled from Sweden via Ferry and missed a direct public transport connection from port to hotel.

Perfectly located for seeing the main sights of Rostock and with many bars and restaurants nearby
Weather was hot and humid and very sweaty but hotel had no aircon and only poor ventilation with window open. Hotel did provide a fan on request which helped although I had to run it all night. Public rooms remained sweaty

The staff was friendly and the hotel had a good location, close to everything you needed. It was also geat with the parking garage below the hotel.
The hotel is really dark (mahogny feeling), very small television and the wifi did not work in the room. I also hate "hand wash, body wash and shampoo" all in one... The breakfast was quite bad (dry bread, dry cheese, juice tasted chemicals and the coffee was like tea). I travel alot and for this price I definately expected a higher quality.
