Breakfast was very good. Easy to access from main station. Spacious rooms. Clean
Walking back a bit late in the evening, it feels a bit isolated. The rooms are quite spacious but dark and a bit old fashioned. No boiler in the room to make tea, not equipped with a safe. The lock on the door was broken.

The hotel is very close to the train station and is an overall great location to explore Hamburg.
We were welcomed by a very friendly receptionist and we could immediately check in even though we arrived slightly ahead of time.

The location was good and the beds were okay.
The pillows were not very comfy, the bathroom was quite small and there wasn't much storage to put things away/ no security safe in the room for valuables which I've come to expect in most hotels. Comparing this hotel to some of the others my friends were staying in - i paid more and got far less. It was a bit disappointing. Luckily didn't spend a lot of time there so was fine for a short trip. Would not recommend for longer stays. I had also emailed them weeks before the trip and never got a reply. Service at check in and check out was good and the cleaners were friendly. But management should have replied to my query.
