Central location, straight into town. Car parking at the rear is ideal, and secure, with a fixed price per day.
Breakfast had a wide variety of options, both hot and cold food, with various drinks too.
Dog friendly. Relatively quiet room.
A luggage trolley was available to help ensure we only needed to make one trip with our luggage from the car.
One of the young female staff members was quite abrupt and not overly friendly or helpful. Usually hotel staff say hello whenever they see guests, but this wasn't the case here generally.
We had an issue with the price of breakfast. When we arrived to check in, we were told by a male receptionist, that breakfast for 3 mornings and 2 people would be €72, so €12 per person, per day. We decided not to pay up front, as we weren't sure what our arrangements would be. At check out, we were abruptly told by the young female receptionist that it was €19 per person, per day, and there was to be no discussion. We had no choice but to pay the extra. I wrote to the hotel to raise this issue and was bluntly told (twice) in the short reply (from Andrea M), that the price of breakfast was stated 'everywhere'. It isn't, but is mentioned when you look for it in the booking details. The way it was handled was the main issue. Poor customer service.
There was thick dust under the bed. The bed clearly hadn't been moved to vacuum underneath for a long time. We noticed this when retrieving our dog's ball from under the bed.
We weren't immediately sure we'd arrived at the correct hotel, as the name on this booking site is different to that displayed on the exterior of the hotel. Strange, but I recognised it from a photo on the site.

Stayed one night on road trip. Well located for exploring the city on foot, with secure parking. Dining room staff were welcoming and good breeakfast.
Unfirnedly man on reception on arrival - not at all welcoming. Hotel had decorators in.
