Nice hotel with excellent location and tidy rooms

It is 2 mins walk to train station, which is why we chose it we had a 6am train to catch. The room was surprisingly large and although utilitarian in decoration the bed was very comfortable. There were 2 layers of window - bit just double glazing but inner window and outer window - which completely shut out the noise - you could hear train announcements when they were open. Also the bar/restaurant next door is fantastic.

From the moment we got there we felt looked after. A wonderful young man on reception helped us with our bikes. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Room was simple, clean and did the job.
We arrived early and someone took our bags. When we came back later to check in, we were scolded for checking our bags as they don't offer this service. The feedback should have been directed to the staff member in the morning rather than us as we weren't aware. I was also berated for not having a form of ID with my address (I used my foreign passport and have never had this issue before)
