Location of the property is perfect for visiting the main attraction of Aachen.
Breakfast was good.

Very friendly staff. Welcoming and helpful.
Fairly small room for the price. No coffee maker, only sachets of instant coffee.
Breakfast was adequate but certainly not the 'superb' rated by other reviewers. The numerous 'food not to be removed from the dining room' signs were unfriendly and set an unwelcoming tone. I am sure that other walkers like us feel that it is fair to take a roll and a piece of fruit from breakfast for sustenance later in the day. When paying £151 for the room I definitely feel this is the case.
Apart from that, breakfast offered rolls, croissants, overcooked scrambled eggs, bacon and meats and cheeses. Fruit salad, yoghurt and juice. No pastries, and you had to ask staff for coffee from a vending machine.
Compared with all the other places we stayed during a two week walking holiday in Germany, this was the most expensive and the lowest value for money. We chose a reputable hotel chain as a luxury for the last night and were disappointed.

The hotel was very good, rooms very clean, with AC, in general well equipped. Breakfast varied enough, a nice surprise was the possibility to have freshly squeezed orange juice. Location very central, walk in distance to several interest areas (Aquis Plaza shopping mall, etc.)
It would be good to have a clear indication whether the hotel has its own parking, as it was not clear, and we had to park in a public paid parking nearby, one day is 18 euros. The hotel's bar is open only until 23.00h, so in case of a late arrival, not easy to get a drink, there are some pubs and night shops in the area.

Overall, a typical Best Western-type hotel. It was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfy. The room was okay. The bathroom facilities were good. For my business the location was good
I was disappointed there were no restaurant facilities other than for breakfast, and also the bar facilities were not open for the two days I was there due to a staff illness. I arrive late at night and am about to go out to find something to eat. The Wi-Fi was not very good in my room.
