Sehr gerne wieder

Alles war prima, das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Frühstücksbüffet reichlich und alles frisch. Da ich keinen Automatenkaffee mag, wurde mir Filterkaffee angeboten, der sehr gut schmeckte. Das Zimmer völlig ausreichend und sehr sauber.

A charming hotel in a serene environment.

Lovely hotel on beautiful grounds. Very quiet, but close to Munster centre. The hotel has old world charm. Beautiful decor. The staff always helpful and pleasant.

Nothing to dislike about this charming hotel.

management need to rethink there restaurant policy and availability for residents to dine.

Excellent location, helpful staff

The restaurant was fully booked on arrival / not something you want after a 10 hour drive. Residents should not need to book to get some food - there was no bar, nothing except for room service, where very oddly you were only allowed to order one dish - no starter or pudding. Silly, incomprehensible and certainly not client focussed. The dish we did eat was good. The room was cold, with no possibility to raise the temperature. we were kindly provided with an electric heater.

Lovely quiet location but within easy reach of the city centre. Easily accessible from the motorway.

The breakfast was extremely good. The usual buffet breakfast available but well set out and presented. For the first time with a buffet breakfast, the boiled eggs were soft boiled with a perfect runny yolk. The decor, surroundings and furniture was beautiful and so clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. There was ample car parking and free of charge. There was a bus stop at the end of the drive which takes you straight into the city centre.

There is no lift, but we were told about that in the hotel details. There was nothing else to complain about. All was exceptional.

fabulous location off the motorway (autobahn) and a wonderful property to have a great stay.

Location off the motorway (autobahn) was excellent the parking was great and the room was a very good size. The bathroom was good and the bed ok. Restaurant was good. The breakfast was included and truly excellent.

The room was quite hot and the duvet not too good - heavy. The shower screen along the bath was not too great.

The setting and room facilities. Close to a bus into Munster. Free parking.

Too many steps to reception in the main house (but OK in the annexe where we stayed). Not able to eat in the restaurant due to no availability for guests that evening.

Fantadtic country house hotel just outside Munster

Fantastic building with lots of character. very friendly staff, attentive, and knowledgeable. The dinner was outstanding.

Beautiful property and terrace if you can get dinner reservations

Beautiful castle, grounds, and room, very clean, good service at breakfast, nice offices, gorgeous terrace, 10-minute drive to Munster

Near a busy road that can be heard when outside, pillows too soft, shower drained very slowly, shower head needed to be replaced, hard to find correct parking lot via Google maps, no dinner reservations available as they also serve non-hotel guests, desk in room too small to use for working, no place to walk in nature

Old school charme in a historic property. Dining room in the chateau with candle light service, an elegant, if old school, fine dining experience.

We had a suite in the annex: great size, and quiet with view of nearby golf course, but fairly dated design features. Impeccably clean though.

Never more.

The breakfast to our surprise has a buffet at the main entrance and very tide to be served, no elegance at all. Unfortunately, we booked the hotel for 2 nights. The day of our leaving my wife was in the bathroom, while I went downstairs. She heard the door being opened and thought it was me, but instead it was the housekeeper entering the room without knocking at the door. This behaviour is not expected in any hotel much less in a 4* hotel. Hotel Schloss Wikingshege doesn’t deserve any star.

I have been there before. This time it was a stop on the way to Holland. We eat a delicious dinner in the restaurant.
