Was a good base for exploring Anneccy or Chamonix mont blanc . Beds were comfortable.

I wasn't wowed by the hotel considering it is a 5 star hotel. The apartment is quite small and the rooms are pretty dated. The cooking space is also quite crammed. For a 5 star, was surprised that it didn't even have amenities like bath soap!! TVs are old style ( no smart TV) so tricky to access Netflix etc. Dustbins were fitted with new bin bags but they really smelt as they hadn't been cleaned before putting the new bin bag in

A really great place to stay… we enjoyed 7 nights at the end of the ski season. The ski facilities are brilliant - there was plenty snow still to enjoy the ski-in/ski-out. The lockers are great. The outdoor pool is beautiful - a real favourite for our son! The Spar is a short walk (up at the Helios apartments). You can also order fresh pastries and bread to the hotel every morning, which was wonderful. The apartments were well kitted out for what we needed, and we cooked there every night. We got a 6 person apartment for a family of 4 (and benefitted from not having to use the sofa bed in the lounge). The staff were lovely and so helpful, and we really enjoyed meeting such lovely families also staying there. The hotel offer complimentary mulled wine, hot chocolate and marshmallows around a fire on Sundays, which was just delightful! Whilst the place is in Foret (although a walk from the main part of Foret), there are regular bus transfers, and a funicular down to Forum. I was concerned about the faff, esp having two young children and lots of ski equipment etc, but they make it really easy and convenient, and it was worth it for the pool etc. It is a lovely walk down when not laden with things! A real treat - and I would stay again.
