Angelina...the perfect host. Incredibly helpful with advice. Organised our early morning taxi to the station as well.
When Angelina shares places to visit, or places where the locals eat, stop for coffee, etc...follow her advice as everywhere we stopped was a 9 or a 10.
Our room was enormous, with a bed that was so large I have no idea where you shop for covers that size. 🙂. Ours had a wardrobe that opened to reveal a mini kitchen hob and sink.
A 15 minute stroll along the river Arno gets you to Pont Vecchio and from there, any sight you want to see is 10-15mins away. Being south of the river gives you peaceful nights and a good way to walk off those gelato calories.
We can only recommend that you stay here and hope you follow the advice. When we go back to Florence, we will book here again.
There wasn't anything. Stay at Residence Michelangiolo and leave Florence with a smile and fond memories.

Location was excellent, near the Piazale Michelangelo on the south side of the river. Quiet residential area. Free parking on site! The manager, Angelina, was great. Checked in on us to make sure the air conditioning was working (it was). Classic property (high ceilings), great location, comfortable.
Better seating area/couch. Moka pot for coffee was fine for us, but some might want a coffee maker (and frying pan).

Angelina (host) was fantastic! Very helpful; went out of her way for us. We really like the character, quality and spaciousness of the unit.
